Dental Community Fellowship (DCF) began at the Medical
University of South Carolina as a Christian outreach to
pre-doctoral and doctoral dental students. It is chartered
as a non-profit local chapter of the Christian Medical and
Dental Associations (cmda.org).

March 28-April 5, 2009. Honduras.....Santa Rita,
with the Rice Foundation. Spring break trip for dental students
from the University of North Carolina. dental and optical
only.
April 14-May 12, 2009. Rwanda and Burundi.....working
in prisons in Rwanda and with various evangelism ministries
in Burundi. dentistry only...clinical students welcome.
June 8-17, 2009. Haiti......Island of LaGonave working
with West Indies Self Help ministry. dental only.

Several times a year trips are scheduled to foreign countries where participants are taught the use of portable equipment to render care including tooth cleaning, basic restorative care, and dental extractions. Participants from all classes are invited.
